By accessing or using Accepted (the “Platform”), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 13 years old to use Accepted.
If you are under 18, you confirm that you have received permission from a parent or legal guardian.
By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that all information provided is accurate and complete.

3. USE OF THE PLATFORM

Accepted provides tools to help students generate, improve, and evaluate academic essays using AI.
You may only use the Platform for personal, educational, and lawful purposes.
You agree not to misuse the Platform in any way, including but not limited to:
- Uploading harmful or illegal content
- Attempting to breach the platform’s security
- Using the Platform to create content that violates academic integrity policies

4. USER ACCOUNTS

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if we suspect misuse or violation of these Terms.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Accepted and all content provided by the platform (excluding user-submitted content) is owned by Accepted or its licensors.
You may not copy, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works without permission.
Any content you submit (e.g., essays, prompts, questionnaire responses) remains your intellectual property.
By submitting content, you grant Accepted a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, analyze, and display it solely for platform-related purposes.

6. AI-GENERATED CONTENT

Our tools use AI technologies (including Gemini API) to generate essays and suggestions.
You are solely responsible for reviewing and modifying any content before submitting it to third parties (e.g., schools or institutions).
Accepted is not responsible for the accuracy or originality of AI-generated text.
Use of AI-generated content must comply with your institution’s rules on academic honesty.

7. PAYMENT AND ACCESS

Accepted may offer both free and paid features.
You agree to pay all fees associated with any premium services you choose.
All payments are final unless otherwise stated.
We reserve the right to modify pricing and feature availability at any time with prior notice.

8. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We rely on trusted services to power the Platform, including:

Firebase (authentication, backend infrastructure)
Gemini API (AI model infrastructure)
Google & Firebase Analytics (usage and performance tracking)

These services may process limited user data to enable core functionality.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Accepted provides all content and tools “as is” and without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Accepted will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. TERMINATION

You may terminate your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
Upon termination, your access to the Platform will end, but we may retain anonymized data for internal research and analysis.

11. MODIFICATIONS TO THESE TERMS

We may revise these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the new Terms.
We will notify users of material changes via email or on the website.

12. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
These Terms apply globally, and we strive to make them enforceable and fair in all regions.
